8th Annual BLSA Practice Interview Evening (P.I.E)

The Black Law Students Association and the Law Career Development Office will host a practice interview evening (P.I.E) for law students on Monday, March 9, 2026. The event is designed to give students the opportunity to enhance their interview skills, network with members of the legal community, and begin the very important process of building professional relationships.

We have attorneys and judges signed up that want to meet with you! This evening allows students to be matched with attorneys and judges based on their career interest and participate in two PRACTICE interviews, each followed by a short feedback session with the attorney or judge. What better way to improve your interview and networking skills, than in an informal setting.

Please note that your GPA is not a consideration for this event. Instead, the evening is an opportunity for students to enhance their interviewing and networking skills.

Following the practice interviews, a reception will immediately follow. The reception will provide attorneys, judges and law students with an opportunity for further informal networking. This is a great event and I encourage all BLSA members who are interested in improving their interview and networking skills to participate. Registration required. This event is capped at 20 law students.
