Join the Office of Student Affairs for World Suicide Prevention Day, Thursday September 10, part of September Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

In special honor of the startling statistic that an average of 22 U.S. military veterans die by suicide every day, students, faculty, and staff will have an opportunity to participate in the 22 Push-Up Challenge on the back patio to shine a light on veteran suicide prevention. Led by one of our veterans, Kris Vicencio!

And we know that suicide is more than just a veteran problem; learn to recognize the signs and risk factors for suicide and how simple actions like just checking in on your people can make a big impact. You can find and create hope and connection in yourself, your family, friend group, and larger community by educating yourself about suicide prevention.

Brought to you in part by BeeWell, UBalt Law’s student wellness initiative housed under the Office of Student Affairs.
