Mission
The mission of the JLSA is to promote Jewish cultural awareness to the law school student body. The JLSA Constitution states: "It shall be the purpose of the Jewish Law Students Association to: Educate both Jewish students and faculty, as well as non-Jews about the Jewish faith, and further to discuss and raise awareness of legal and professional issues facing Jews today." To further this goal, the JLSA provides engaging events on pressing topics as well as events that will help students gain insight into the law. The proposed budget will further the organizations goals by providing students with experiences to not only immerse in Jewish culture, but also for law students to learn about different areas and aspects of the law. The budget allows room for the JLSA to raise awareness of Jewish holidays while also offering a chance for discussion on pressing issues of the time such as the BDS movement and rising Anti-Semitism. In addition, the events proposed by the JLSA in the budget allow for collaboration with organizations outside of the law school to create events for students. The JLSA listens to what students and members want and then we craft a budget around the interests of the students.
This past year, one of the big projects JLSA worked on was having a kosher food area in the law school, which was approved by all the necessary departments. The opening of the kosher room filled a vital role to allow students who follow kosher dietary restrictions to have a place to pick up food that would not be available nearby. We would like to expand the function of this kosher room to include kosher food and events throughout the course of the year.
The JLSA also hosts events that are open and for the interest to the entire law school body such as the BDS movement event and the hot topic discussion. The JLSA believes it is important for the entire UB community to be privy to interesting and insightful information that is provided at our events.

Mission
The Trans Law Student Association (TLSA) seeks to serve the trans community at UB Law by combating systems of genderism and transphobia. The group seeks to hold a space which addresses the specialized needs of trans and gender-nonconforming law students. The group is dedicated to serving the trans student population including, but not limited to, advocating for the unique needs of the population to administration, faculty, students, and the broader legal community. The group aims to assist the greater community in facilitating a legal space which embraces and encourages trans identities. It seeks to increase the enrollment of trans students while ensuring the success of trans students at UB Law and beyond; from the classroom to the bar exam and throughout their legal careers. This is accomplished through addressing trans-specific issues such as lack of representation, physical safety, gender-dysphoria, social transitioning, and mental health by addressing pedagogical issues and growing a network of trans-legal professionals.

The UB Disabled Law Student Association (DLSA) works to create an open, sustainable, and accessible environment for students to raise awareness of and advocate for disability rights in the University of Baltimore School of Law community, the legal profession, and society at large. The UB DLSA will host events that are inclusive of both members of the disability community as well as allied partners. UB DLSA is a chapter member of the National Disabled Law Student Association (NDLSA).

The UB Law Alumni Association Board serves as an advisory body to the School of Law and the External Relations department.

UBLAA includes members of the law alumni community who have made a commitment to advance the mission of the law school and who will work to engage alumni in support of their alma mater, and advises on initiatives and activities designed to strengthen relationships with law alumni and encourage active involvement with the law school through events, volunteerism, and philanthropy.

The UB Chapter of the Women's Bar Association (WBA) has the same mission as the WBA of Maryland. The WBA is an organization of women and men committed to the full and equal participation of women in the legal profession and in a just society. The WBA believes that a strong community of women in the legal profession is essential to the administration of justice.
